Hello new to forum, first post. I recently took over a blue fronted Amazon from my uncle had him for a little over a week now, but I took him to the vet yesterday to have his nails trimmed and beak trimmed since his beak was little over grown and offset a bit. He had to be put under for the trimming, vet said he was very healthy and is fine. But my question is, last night he kept making regurgitation motions, and he’s not so talkie and whistley. And I heard like gurgle kind of sounds while he’s in his cage, is that because he’s regurgitating? Is this just stress induced from the change in his beak and he should be fine? Or do I go back to the vet? Also he’s more lethargic now, before the beak trim he was still a grumpy old man (32) now when I reach to pet him he doesn’t lunge at me. Here’s a couple before and after.
