You get told who you are buying for, and also you will get info on their flock in case it's a member you don't know very well (species, likes, dislikes). And then you post it out to them. Or some will buy on AA vendor sites and have them send it direct.
The clues thread can be little complicated but it's not really when you sit and read it. People give clues and also guess who their SS is.

Yes, you ccould choose an AA vendor you think sells something they would like and do a direct order. No limit, but the suggested minimum is on the sign up thread, I think it was about 20 dollars, but the info is always in the signup thread. Remember you can ask questions on the sign up thread. Loads of member participate so they all know how it goes and will help you

It because of ordering and shipping ..and all
USA has moved up mail by date to get in time for Christmas
I'm ordering my Christmas cards now

Actually this year has been rough as well but I am coping better.
Last year late summer my mother passed away, I lost my Blue Headed Pionus Andre, and my youngest brother was in the hospital for blood clots in his lungs just a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. This year in the spring my youngest brother was in the hospital again for blood clots in the lungs. He was in the hospital for 2 weeks then another 2 weeks in a nursing home for rehab. I lost my cockatiel Erica due to egg binding in June. We lost my sister in law suddenly in August. My sister was in the hospital for cardiac issues in early September. So not really a good year but I am coping better.

I am so so sorry you have been through all this I am glad though you are coping better well I really hope next year is a lot better for you and full of things that make you happy you deserve it after this year

I've lost my mom this summer, it's so hard. So much loss you've had grouped together is just aweful. I'm glad you are healing and dealing. Much love to you
