Hi all. My little black capped conure's new cage is set up. Not everything is in it her since we are working on the switch. Any tips on transitioning her to it? The new cage is quite a bit bigger.

Yesterday she was landing on it and exploring briefly. This morning I popped her in for a little bit. She immediately climbed down from the perch and sat on the floor in a corner. She stared at me and bobbed up and down to let me know that she wanted out.

Going to add a little to this. This is a picture of what I have so far. Since we are transitioning, I'm still figuring out how I want to set this up. If you look to the upper right hand corner you will see a ladder. Someone gave this to me, and I'm not sure how to place it in the cage. The rungs have about 1.25 inches of space between them. Does anyone have thoughts ? Safety is always a concern for me.

Thank you. I'm adding toys, and her favorite perch is in there. So far she just wants to sit at the bottom of the cage, picking at the bars or displaying body langue to let me know that she wants out.
