please give me some advice. 5 months ago I got my first parrot, he is an eclectus, we bought him from his old owner who also owned a macaw which they kept. We love our eclectus though he is only 3 and we are very much still building our bond, he's quite a loud bird and loves to growl, he loves kisses from me, he is pretty inconsistent, some days he is completely different from the day before. We love him dearly and wouldn't be without him. He lived with his companion macaw his whole 3 years. Will taking her on too mean he will just forget about us? Will it make it difficult to bond to the macaw since she will arrive and immediately seek comfort in our eclectus she already knows and loves? ... I had anxiety before getting our eclectus and it was a nightmare at first he hated me and chose my partner but we are even now. I do feel he gets frustrated with us and he misses bird companionship. I also worry a macaw may be a whole other level... those beaks are huge! Though we have always dreamt of owning one, one day. I feel it might be too soon however I feel if we were to own one this would be the perfect one as she's bonded to our eclectus already.
