I found one of these at the thrift store! Just a different color and for $3!!!
I will post pics of the real thing and the birds playing on it tomorrow when I have them, right now the birds are sleeping :sleeping: lol

What kind of good finds for birds have you found at a thrift store??

If you found it at the thrift store be very careful.

Give it a good spray with F10, sit it aside then soak in boiling water before rinsing and hanging to dry (preferably in the sun if you have some).

You have no idea where this came from, did the birds die? did they have an illness? is it harbouring lots of bacteria from old poops? No way to know, so best deep clean it as best you can! :tup:

As an FYI, IKEA sells a similar thing;
(if the link doesn't work, you can search "komplement")

edit; oh wow, I didn't realise how expensive this is in the USA! 9 dollars! :(

Thanks for letting me know! I used F10 before letting my birds even be around it and then I soaked it in bolilng water.

What! That is the exact one I found!! I think it is probally safer than an actual bird climbing net.

They look so happy awwwh! What lucky ducks!!!! The material looks to be cotton, so watch out for chewing, if you notice any fraying remove it, or move it to a spot you can supervise them carefully. Your budgies are just the sweetest little birbs:swoon:
They are soo happy! Thanks for the warning, the have cotton rope perches and they never chew them. Aww, thanks!
