I’m new to this group. Is it safe to use Bug MD spray around my parrots in my home?

I probably wouldn’t. Their respiratory systems are so sensitive

Not a link so I googled it and from the description I got it says it is made from essential oils- this is not a good thing to spray anywhere near your birds.

Depending on what you are trying to rid the area of you can use AIL (avian insect liquidator) to protect against certain bugs around your aviary/cages. The only insect spray I am aware of that is safe for use around birds is AIL.

It comes in ready to use and concentrated forms- I get the concentrated stuff in a small bottle (I think it is about 200ml) and from what I have seen it is fairly well available in many bird stores. I am in Aus but I do know of some members of our forum in the US who use it so it must be available there. An online search should get you a store a who sells it
