Vuela Vuela’s Gender Reveal

Back in late December of last year we got our Yellow-Crowned Amazon Parrot, Vuela Vuela, a DNA test and sent the results to a local bakery to have a gender reveal cake made. Funnily enough, instead of piping on “It’s a girl!” or something with icing they just straight up printed the test results on the cake. The cherry on top is that the cake was stale or something and tasted horrible. It’s alright though, at least we had a fun time finding out what gender our precious baby is!

Nice name! What does it mean?

In Spanish it means “fly fly” but it’s based on a song called “Vuela Vuela (Voyage Voyage)”. She actually knows how to sing part of it!
