They're beautiful and need a new home

I have owned birds my entire life. Most recently I lost my Quaker at age 22. But that isn’t why I am here.

My mom recently passed away. She was the owner of three sun conures that were loyal only to her. Over the twenty-something years she had them, they came after me every single time I was there. Now that mom is gone I need to rehome them. They are free to anyone who can show they care about these animals and will treat them well. I'd request that they stay together. It is a male (father) and two of his offspring. He is about 30 (he is banded) and i dont recall how old the children are. They are obviously not banded as they were born at my mom's.

In the meantime, I will be taking care of them, albeit carefully. Hopefully someone who knows how to transition them to their next stop will reach out. We’ve tried the local parrot society and others, thus far no luck.

I’d appreciate anyone willing to adopt them or who knows someone who can do so. I am located in downstate New York if that helps at all. Thank you for sharing your bird space with me.

Honestly I'd be tempted to provide these luvs a good safe home , it's already loud here and I have high tolerance, and two big empty cages . But that way to far away and my car barely runs .
My deepest wish a good home is found quickly for them

Maybe they'd be willing to ship them too you? I don't imagine with respect that a lot folks would be willing or able to welcome 3 bonded Sunnies into their homes and they'd be so well taken care of and loved with you

Oh Lord! We are far far away. I don't think it's meant t to be . It just pulled on my heart strings , because of mom's. I have a lot going on , my dad will be having heart surgery when we can get it all worked out. It's really not something I need to be doing. It's just my weakness for the situation.
I will double down on prayers a home is found!

I wonder if they could be flown in a modified small pet/ dog carrier? I got a parrot that way once.

If you’re really interested, Pixiebeak, think about having them flown to you if you’re near a major airport. Bet it would cost the same as gas.
