Themed Cages

Ok, so I'm a very aesthetically inclined person.
I'm starting to curate Moss' cage towards a very green, earthy theme and am in the process of sourcing parts to replace bits and bobs in his cage to match.

I'm also in the process of planning a second budgie, which I'm thinking may lean towards the blues - so sky/cloud/night sky/stars kind of theme?

Does anyone else do this?

I love theme cages. It's been a while since I did one. Dealing with chronic health problems hasn't slowed me down alot. I use to a Christmas cage every year, now it's more like every other year. I still hoard stuff to do theme cages and hope to do another one soon. Here are some my past ones

Thankyou! I get most of my toys from small businesses in Canada. I use Things for Wings alot. Plus Oliver's Garden. A couple US stores I've used are Seriously Nutz and Lil Monsters. They're great but unfortunately shipping gets costly so I rarely use them. But if you're in the US I highly recommend you check them out.

I have to admit whenever I've seen holiday toys I've been kind of confused (as someone who doesn't decorate my own house for holidays) as to why I'd just stick a random santa toy in a cage. It never occurred to me to make all the toys in-theme. That's SUCH a cool idea. I love them all! You're so creative and inspiring! Your birds must really love their home.

If you order the monthly toy boxes from Seriously Nuts, you will get some holiday-themed stuff. I only just re-started my subscription, but last time I remember toys for valentine's, 4th of July, halloween, etc. It's all very cute.
