They are back in separate cages I came home from work last night and they had a few fights not full blown but more than a squabble

I want to keep an idea on pip feather loss too

they slept fine back in their own cages and still spend a lot of time out together

Aw I'm sorry to hear that. They may just end up being separate cage buddies

Wish Pippen would take scritches in or out without getting nippy but your guy is certainly a sweet heart. You might want to consider some of those vinyl office desk and chair runners for under their cages, probably help keep the carpet free of bird poop and crumbs. I used to have one under Nerds area and it really helped and you can wash it off or toss it when it gets too nasty and get another one pretty cheap.
Dobby lives in the entry way for what was supposed to be the front door so most of his mess is on the vinyl area for walking in with wet shoes. Puff lives on a storage box so most of his mess is just tossed seeds, and Pippen lives in the dining room by the table but she usually doesn't make a huge mess. Kiwi was the big mess maker when she was here and I should have put down those protectors for her.

I get the roll from Amazon. It protects the carpet and it's so much easier to clean. Just a wipe and it's done.
I only use it in the living room near Dolly's cage.
Frankie just has laminate flooring in the kitchen, so his is easy enough to clean.

I just cut as much as I need for the area in front of her cage, which is where she poops 95% of the time. It lasts a long time.

It really does work great! I just use non-scented baby wipes to clean her poop off, and it sticks really well to the carpet, which protects it.

Other thing about her coming in birds room 8/10 times ends in tears still that she’s misses pico so much which makes me cry too but I also think she think if we got another lovebird it would be pico just like him in everyway she keeps begging me for one she wanted to save the lovebird at pet shop with a growth on its eye
