Well, most of you knew that I had gotten a new little conure for Chaz, my maroon belly. I did have the baby DNA sexed and it turns out that the little one is a

GIRL

I've decided to name her Kaylee.

She is just amazing. She is going through her terrible nipping stage right now... well actually a bite and grind and not let go stage... LOL

She is active and energetic and mumbles like crazy. I've had a few small conures but this girl beats them all with her bossy attitude and energy. My lord, I get tired watching her.

Anyways, here are a few pics of the precious girl and a few of her and Chaz.

She's really cute. I can't believe how well these gcc get along with a second gcc. They seem to really love each other.

Thanks... I just love her. Kaylee is a crimson bellied conure and Chaz is a maroon bellied conure.

Yes, Chaz and Kaylee do get along. The only thing I see right now is she is so hyper and wants to play constantly and Chaz is still healing from his wing injury so he really gives it to her to get her to leave him alone somedays. She has so much spunk that she doesn't back down. I watch them but they settle the issues among themselves so I never need to step in. I think once she gets through her baby stage and isn't so hyper that they will do more together. They do spend their quiet times on their get a grip and preen each other.
