New babies!!!

Yesterday at about 11pm, My cockatiel's eggs hatched! While refilling their food bowl, I heard *peep!* *peep!* *peep!* I heard those sounds before when I had Nugget and Nunuu, so I was excited. I also noticed that Puffy and Crispy were extra protective with their new babies, and refused to leave their nest. I placed down a tiny bit of parsley, but I made sure to not give them too much parsley since parsley can prevent absorption of calcium. I made sure to be extra careful so i don't scare them away!

I also named them Cotton and Kandy. Candy just sounds a bit boring for a name, so i used a K. It apparently meant "glowing" In greek.

I hope that this time your nest box is external so that you have access to the chicks , to check on them and help if and when needed. I really hope this time your birds are successful in raising their clutch
