I have found a 4 1/2 month old Meyers female, was originally looking for a red bellied, or senegal. I'm reading how many are noisier than then the other 2 species. Which is your favorite poi and why? Long time parrot owner here, I have 2 African Grey's, and a parakeet now whom we love so not new to birds. Thanks in advance!

This will be last bird so gathering as much info as possible. This little meyers seems like a real cuddler and i love that. Thanks in advance!

I've very limited experience with Meyers but my friend's rarely made a peep lol. All birds are individuals so noise is going to vary. I have a Jardine's (poicephalus family) and he's pretty quiet in that he rarely sounds off bird noises, but he loves to whistle and beep throughout the day. So Jardine's is my favorite ;)

With two African Greys, one thing I'll mention is that poicephalus seem to be more prone to respiratory infections, and the grey dust could be a problem for them long term.
