I have found a 4 1/2 month old Meyers female, was originally looking for a red bellied, or senegal. I'm reading how many are noisier than then the other 2 species. Which is your favorite poi and why? Long time parrot owner here, I have 2 African Grey's, and a parakeet now whom we love so not new to birds. Thanks in advance!

I have found a 4 1/2 month old Meyers female, was originally looking for a red bellied, or senegal for their playfulness, I am reading how many are much noisier than then the other 2 species? Which is your favorite poi and why? Long time parrot owner here, I have 2 African Grey's, and a parakeet now whom we love so not new to birds. This will be last bird so gathering as much info as possible. This little meyers seems like a real cuddler and i love that. Thanks in advance!

I've very limited experience with Meyers but my friend's rarely made a peep lol. All birds are individuals so noise is going to vary. I have a Jardine's (poicephalus family) and he's pretty quiet in that he rarely sounds off bird noises, but he loves to whistle and beep throughout the day. So Jardine's is my favorite 
With two African Greys, one thing I'll mention is that poicephalus seem to be more prone to respiratory infections, and the grey dust could be a problem for them long term.
