Hi, welcome to the Avenue.

You do not have to do anything like build a nest for your bird, they do not need a nest to lay eggs and really we do not want to encourage them to lay by offering a nest unless we are planning to breed and have prepared our birds for babies.
@Zara can help you further.

I don't want to encourage her but i have more then one and i didn't want to let her have eggs but yesterday i notes that she has eggs in her belly and the problem both the other birds doesn't like her so they are in separate cages and that's why i help her with her nest she just 6 months year old but idk if Almond and lemon leaf is good or not

Hello Remai,

Your bird doesn't need a nest or she will want to sit full time. You can give a little paper to shred but really it is best to just let them lay on the cage bars. The lack of nest usually leads to an earlier abandonment of the eggs.
Almond leaves are safe only if they did not have any pesticides used. You could offer her a few so she can go through the motions of making a nest (shredding the material, carrying it, finessing it), but not too much.
When the eggs come, no longer than 3 weeks can she sit on those eggs before they must be removed.
For a first clutch if your bird is still young, you may get a smaller clutch. There may also be a little blood on the egg shell.

It is more inmportant to be giving her vitimamin rich veggies ofer nesting material, offer some carrots, dill, sesame seed and other calcium rich veggies.

Hello zara
Thank u for helping me , i really do appreciate that but as u see I'm really beginner with this so if u don't mind to ask u another question?

I used to but cotton home before put i changed to wood one and as u said it's true . The moment i put wood home it barely get out so I'll do as u said I'll put back the cotton home in the cage and the leaf out but I'm wondering if it's ok to the egg to be out side because it's cold in my country (between 15- 5 .c out said and 20-17 in the room ) and I'm not sure if her eggs will be empty because i let it out with birds always but i can't put it in the same cage because they will start fighting ‍ .. I'm not interesting to let her have babys but if the eggs aren't empty i don't wanna kill them either
So pls would u help me about which home better for her
And thank u

Neither of those is needed for a female.

With no experience in breeding parrots, it is best not to attempt as it is the chicks who suffer when things go wrong.

When the eggs are laid you will have a few days where there is no life in the egg, in this time, boil them just in case, let them cool down and put them back. If you want peace of mind about this, get a LED torch or use the LED flash light on your phone and sit the egg on it, you will see a yellowish yolk floating in clear egg white. No veins, no redness, no signs of life at all. You are not killing anything by boiling a fresh egg.

Birds like a nice branch to sleep on, you can try a few see what your bird likes the most; platform, milti branch, single branch, snake branch etc.

Having nooks, and spaces like in those pictures can create the desire to lay eggs, something which non breeders want to avoid as it is tough on the little ones bodies.

If you want more tips on the cage layout, you can post a pic and we can give some suggestions if you like.
