Thanks, I’m aware of this issue unfortunately, similar thing happened a few years back with corellas.
There’s a few groups rescuing and nursing them back to health, wires was the first ones I saw getting overwhelmed with birds needing help- I follow a few accounts of people who rescue for wires. Sad that they still haven’t worked out what it is causing this problem.

I know you have been following and advising those who found birds down .

I was just so happy to see that some can recover :) !

It's so odd that it hasn't been determined what cause.

It's so sad to see beautiful native parrots suffering.

It reminds me a lot of when West Nile virus first steamrolled through our birds in America 2002,(?) We treated thousands, lost hundreds, did so much testing , it took time to figure out .but I'm pretty sure in a couple of months we knew was a virus , longer to determine which

but this is the second year (?) Of this mysterious syndrome? Scary
