In honour of my Cockatiel Buddy (sadly he passed away 2 hours before the vet opened) I want to make a free to use google doc with recipes for chop and stuff.
So if you have a good recipe and want to share it, I would be really grateful.
(if you have pictures you can share them too)
So feel free to share some recipes if you like too. Would be very thankful. :)

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry about Buddy :( Pets getting ill over holidays is so hard :(

I make a big batch of chop to freeze from a recipe I found online. My bird Cotton likes fresh food better so I also make fresh chop in a mini food processor to last 3-4 days at a time.

Cotton LOVES sweet peppers, and hates anything green. His favorite chop recipe is cooked quinoa, sweet pepper or bell pepper, cauliflower, a few blueberries, and just a few leafy greens like romaine lettuce or spinach or rocket.

I use that as my "base" because I know he'll eat it, and then add whatever veggie is on sale at my local shop. I usually try to add a root vegetable like carrot, sweet potato, pumpkin, parsnip etc. and then random colors of veggies. If I make it so it looks like it's mostly peppers and grains, he'll chow it right down :)

My other bird Opie loves any and everything to eat (except for pellets, that's still in progress) so I'll add broccoli and more greens for him.

I think this is a neat project that you're doing, and a really lovely way to honour Buddy
