Is his eye ring ok?

Hi,
I bought my boy a year ago and spent 1 year fixing it's feather. Now his feather are beautiful now but his eye ring is getting very dark. May I know if this is a concern?

Does he get a lot of time outside or in the sun? Or exposure to a UV light source?

The reason I'm asking is that from my understanding, sun/UV exposure can affect their eye ring color

He usually stays in door by the window. We hardly bring him out unless special occasion.

What do you mean his eye ring is dark?

The skin around his eyes is very dark, but that is as personal as a dogs spots, and can change over time depending on exposure to sunlight ( like human tanning)

The actual eye ring is a red red ring on the outside edge of the orb of the birds eye as we see it. When he gets angry he opens his eyes wide and flashes this red ring to demonstrate anger.

It looks dark in those pix, maybe you havent made him angry enough to flash it....DONT DO IT!

Oh yes. What I meant was the skin around it. I am glad that he is fine.
