Just wanting to share with everyone my newest (and final!) flock member - Oakley!
Oakley arrived just over a week ago after a few back and forth with his previous owners who were looking to rehome. Oakley is 18 months old and was hand reared by her (I'm pretty sure she's a her!) previous owner but after a trip away they found Oakley was no longer able to be handled and so she has been caged for the last 2 years. The day she got here, I popped her in a room and opened the door to see if she might come out and she did, no issues
She's never been around other birds before so I'm looking forward to slowly introducing her to my flock after a few weeks. I'm so glad she's here and I'm excited to work with her and teach her that I offer many delicious foods that aren't fingers or laptop keys
