Hi all, I have a question. I have 2 sun conures and they both DESTROY everything I use to cover them up with at night. I get a good 2 weeks use of them then all I see is eyes peeping out at me. What can I use that they can't destroy so easily???

Do they need to be covered? :) I understand some birds do, but if you can get away with not having to cover them, that would be the easiest and cheapest!

I have tried that. Things didn't go well, they wouldn't stop screeching.

What about hanging a set of curtains from the ceiling so they close off the area around the cage without being ON the cage?

I bought uvb/uva lights to go on my cages of all my birds. I turn them on in the morning and at dusk I turn them off by dark even if the TV is on they are all quiet and roosted for the night. My light is on a dimmer so it goes dimmer at the even with the sun
