Hi!
Hopefully you can make it a private YouTube and link here. This forum doesn't hoast videos, so you have to link.

But we would love to see a picture of your birdie!

We have Caique members! I'm sure they will have thoughts!

It might be a female soliciting mating? I'm unsure though.

So we will have to wait until others weigh in, it's early in America where many but not all of our members are.

It's so nice to have you joining us!

I think this caique is a he not a she but I might be wrong because he is q 160grams caique and I heard that a female is not that big anyway who ever knows something I would like to give me some help because sometimes he is regurgitating when I call him to step up… some mixed signals I dont know. Otherwise he is a very joyful birb loves cuddles also mimics me very often

To me it looks like the bird is excited about something it sees. Mine will do this before flying. The regurgitation is hormonal, so this behavior may be related to that too. Beautiful bird....that first photo shows that it's relaxed with you (standing on one foot, slightly fluffy)! Caiques are crazy birds!! But couldn't imagine life without mine! :birdance:

I hevent seen that shivering before in that posture. Of course they do shiver when excited but his body language doesnt suggest any threat. Id like to see whats happening off camera to drive this reaction

My own guys crouch down and shiver when they want something
They point at it clearly. What does the bird see - off camera

Nothing really there was a hanger with coats on it but usually when I call him to fly to me he does that. every time he does that he is looking at me , when he sees my finger up and down calling him sometimes he start to regurgitate. If this is hormonal how can I make it better is my parrot in pain or sick what you think?

Maybe he wants to fly to your coats on hangers and mark them with poop???! ;) I have found that mine will suddenly get obsessed with something for a few days (or hours) and you just have to go with it (as long as it's safe). ADHA birds!:laughin:

I mean as long as he is healthy he can shiver a lil bit. I was just worried for his health and if I can do something to help I will

I think if he just does it on one special occasion it’s part of the behavior pattern and not a sign of illness. My Quaker would do similar if he was planning to fly to something he really wanted.
