Bourkes parakeets

I just got a pair of bourkes parakeets they said they were male and female. But I want to make sure. I was told that the brighter one was the male.(that one is larger) 1000011956.jpg 1000011932.jpg

They are very pretty, Rosey Bourke's are a different species of Australian Grasskeets.
Mine are Australian red rump Grasskeets. The Male is a Mutation Opaleine & Female is a Mutation Blue.
Rosy Bourke's are generally sweet mellow keets.
The Red Rumps can be aggressive.
the Male always carries a red patch on the rump and is generally brighter. Not sure about Rosy Bourke's.
