Birdie bread/muffins......who likes it?

Mine really enjoy it!
I start with a cornbread mix and then add whatver I have handy. Applesauce, seeds and pellets, fruits and veggies. I grind the egg shell and include that. I have used ground cuttlebone, too. It changes every time I make it. LOL I bake it in cupcake pans and freeze them. It's easy to pop a few out and thaw them to use as needed.

ha ha ha i been up all night making birdie bread and muffens 1 lot veg 1 lot fruit but i use cornmeal muffin mix white flour brown flourveg oil 4 eggs with shels and cuss cause i mess hole place up..lolchopp vegies add pellets flex seed pluss 3 other ones for health forget name all something like flex seed inthe fruit all same but fruit not veg will take pic but not sure i can show yet comp is low on memory
but i do this because mango wont eat much vegies or pellets so this is one way i fool himhe gets 1 veg every morning and fruit oh 4 times a weekpluss what i eat so i do think hes well fed at least i do hope oh and nuts he steals ,,lol

Mango has to have her birdy bread everyday or it just isnt a good day!

Pico loves his birdie bread! He gets it with his veggies every day. After it's made & cooled, I cut it into small little squares & wrap individually, and freeze. When I start getting low, I make some more.

Ceddy's on the second batch of birdie bread and she eats it OK, though I think she liked the first one better (no idea what I did differently
).
She still refuses pellets so birdie bread is her breakfast. I freeze it in portion sizes and pop one into her dry food bowl to defrost before I go to bed (I'm a late riser and she's usually up before me, this way it's nicely defrosted by the time she wakes ).
Haven't found a corn bread mix here so I'm just using corn meal, mash a number of fruits and veggies, whatever I have (and especially those she still refuses to eat otherwise, like dark leafy, broccoli etc) in the blender, add one to two eggs (depending on egg size and amount I'm making) including the finely ground shells, add a small jar of organic fruity baby food for more sweetness and to cover the tastes she doesn't like, sneak in some pellets (but have to be careful, not too much otherwise she refuses the bread ), then stir through some roughly ground nuts, a few more finely chopped fruits and veggies she really likes and some spices like cinnamon and/or dried chilli and into the oven. The dough is kind of wet but it comes out just nice and moist. Once cooled after baking I cut it into portion size and freeze them.

I like the muffins I make for my birds..lol.
No sugar or salt added, but with tons of fresh fruits and veggies and chopped nuts and unshelled seeds. VERY tasty! MMM. lol.. ofcourse.. my birds like them too!

i found the cornbread mix at the bulk barn so far its the only place i have seen it but i use the corn meal as its a bigger bage,,lol has any one tryed the carrot muffen mix for birdiebread i was thinking of trying it but then again what i add to it lol he might not notice the carrot mix
