Are 2 caiques louder or quieter?

Hello there!
I have a 4 months old wonderful boy, and I'm thinking about getting the girl as soon as possible to make sure he (and the possible she) can live the happiest life possible.
My question is. I can tolerate the clinginess and the volume of 1 caique, and most of all, I live in an apartment and no complaints have arouse so far -lucky me!-
From your experience, are 2 caiques louder or quieter together, meaning that they keep themselves busy more effectively?

I have 2 bonded caiques (females). Since they are such high energy birds, it's nice for them to have a buddy (and it's really fun to watch their interactions). I've never only had one, but I imagine that having two is less demanding on your time (whereas they have somebirdy, of their own species, to occupy some of their time). I can speculate that having 2, who are friends, would be quieter than having one. Although, when they get demanding (or show their dislike of something) it can sound like the end of the world! They won't lose their bond with you (which is awesome!). I live in a house, not an apartment, so that's helpful. Overall, 2 caiques (who get along) are better than one...and really fun for their person! I can't imagine life any other way!! :birdance:

Yes, definitely
My mom has a gcc and it's nowhere close to the volume of my caique, even in his worst days -given that he's a pretty quiet bird anyway-.
This bug is pretty demanding, but awesome

Thanks for the reply! That's what I was thinking of having 2 birds would be like.
I'm sorry to keep him in the cage a few hours because I work from home and I can't have him around going on my laptop and do things -such as talking to the screen or attacking my keyboard :meh: no matter how many distractions I offer him, he'll be on me after a couple of minutes if I'm lucky -but you know better!-
So I guess having a playmate would make him happier and more occupied as well. The chirping are just fine, it's the screeches I'm more worried about.
I wasn't thinking about getting a second one any soon but I've seen him once looking at himself at the mirror (he landed in my bedroom where I have a huge one, I didn't intend to as I know they're bad for birds) get as close as possible and do his sweet chirps to call "the other bird". It was so sweet but it broke my heart as well:sad9:

Its a long time since Ive only had 2 caiques, but possibly quieter
Most of the loudest calls are the morning and evening flock calls, largely unnecessary when the flock is there beside you

BUT

If you turn on the tv with music or loud noise, BOTH of them will try to compete with it
