What do y’all think about this site: Available Babies for sale | Best Birds Aviary
They aren’t BBB accredited which is concerning, but they have social media accounts, reviews on the Bird breeders site (BirdBreeders.com :: Best Birds Aviary, Summerfield, FL), and lots of testimonials… plz let me know what y'all think!

I don't know anything about them but it says they spend quality time with all the babies but they have over 300 breeder birds! Unless they have a massive staff, I don't see how that's possible and seems like a bird mill to me- if they're legitimate.

Have you thought about adopting? It looks like there are a number of rescues on your state.

Honestly, I wouldn't trust any breeder website unless you are personally referred!!

We have, and I've looked into several rescues but none of them have any birds available for adoption in our state :,) We may have found a couple conures that are in need of rehoming if they accept our offer. Fingers crossed!

The big red flag is right at the bottom. It says they use Shopify but Shopify doesn’t permit the sale of live animals.

Better Business Bureau requires businesses to pay a yearly fee to be "accredited". There's not really a lot of requirements that go into being approved beyond providing proof you are a business and paying them money.

The URL was registered in 2009. They are using a privacy service based in Ontario, Canada, to protect their personal data, which aligns with a website registered through Shopify, as they are Canada based. (If you look up my URL it shows the same registration information).

Their Facebook page was created in 2011.

Their phone number matches their location.

Their address points to an actual place, with a seemingly large building on the property.

So, they probably are a real company. I can't speak to anything beyond that (condition of the birds, their practices, etc). They also have not been very active lately on social media (no posts in a year on Facebook).

Can't speak to the quality of their birds but they are legit.
