He's doing great! Today, while I was in the bird room with the Tiels, I could hear him from the living room. He was making all these clicks and whistles and weird noises, kind of to a melody, at the end of each stanza he would say "pow-pow-pow" really
fast! It was so cute.
I finally had him in the bird room without his cage and he was like a different bird. He was walking all over, checking everything out. As
@JLcribber said, "No cage, nothing to be aggressive about." I hope I'm quoting that correctly.
Best of all, when George brought his cage back into the room, Oscar FLEW up onto George's shoulder! Okay, I was jealous!
Our contractor will be putting in our double doors during this week, if nothing unforeseen comes up.
My knee is still twice the size it should be and I can barely walk. I'm also still covered in a terrible case of poison ivy, but Oscar is doing so well that I don't care. There's an issue with my insurance through my VA benefits that we're trying to get sorted out!
How are you and your flock? And your cutie new birdie?
