He climbs over most of it, because I wedge small items he can chew (like paper straws or lollipop sticks) into the knots. He also enjoys chewing the rope itself, lol.

Just double check you get a SS one- many are chrome covered and the chrome peels off fairly easy one a small amount of damage is done.

One of the two I have saved on my phone is SS, I haven't done a whole lot of looking into it yet though. The ones I have are just ones I came across and liked the look of.

You can try keeping it well-wrapped in vet wrap if it's not ss. That's become my go-to solution for a lot of things since getting a bird, lol. Vet wrap all the things!
