I'm thinking of buying/adopting a galah and getting insurance for it. The only insurance company i could find was petcover and they say incase of an emergency they cover up to $6000. would that be enough to cover the worst case scenario emergency vet bill? What's the most expensive bill you've had to pay?
Im in Australia by the way
Thanks
Hello fellow Aussie. I love galahs and still want to get one 1 day, I hope that you find one that settles down well with you.

As for insurance I found that it's hard to find anyone that will insure our beloved birds. 6k won't cover the worse case scenario but will definitely cover most scenarios. But is it worth it with the access and premium you have to pay? I don't know, it depends how much money you have I guess, most people simply cannot afford it I think
