Of course we dont just
breed birds. The following are our pets birds as well as some we plan on getting
set up for breeding at some point. Most of our breeding pairs started as pets and
continue to be great friends as well as parents.
 |
This is Lancelot, my sweet little
Eleanora Cockatoo (aka medium sulfer crested cockatoo). She is my 'miracle bird'
and you can read
my story about her.
Is she cute or what? :) |
| Wyatt, my female Lilac Crowned
Amazon. She has a very sweet disposition and loves anyone she meets. |
|
|
|
Cecil, my other Lilac. She is
another Miracle bird, (a concussion survivor) and I'm currently working on writing
her story. |
| Cienna, a female Red-Bellied
Parrot. She is very sweet despite having been used for breeding. |
|
|
|
Shiloh, a female goffin cockatoo.
I am hoping to someday find her a suitable mate. She was very shy when I first got
her but has since become a very outgoing girl. She loves to fly about in her cage
and is very playful! |
| Traveler, a male Mexican Red-Headed
Amazon. Trav was found flying free in a nearby canyon. The lady who found him was
unable to locate his owner and so I adopted him. Traveler is very shy, but seems
to have settled in and is happy to be around the other birds. |

|
Charlie, a male Yellow Nape Amazon.
He is a brat, but a great bird anyway :) He isnt the most talkative bird considering
Yellow Napes are known to be great talkers. Someday if I ever find a female he will
be paired up and hopefully become a fine dad! |
| Coke-a-moe, a male Senegal Parrot.
He is my little enforcer and loves to boss everyone around (including me!) He is
100% brat-bird and is the best talking senegal Ive ever met. He uses his vocabulary
quite appropriately, too! |
