Avian_Avenue List Subscribe Today! This mailing list is meant for bird owners and bird lovers to share their thoughts, feelings, questions and answers with each other. This list is great for people just getting started in birds as well as those of us who have been into them for a long time. Feel free to ask or answer any questions, and have fun :) Note to new members: Our list has archives on the Yahoo! site. Once you are logged in, you can view the messages by clicking on "messages" in the left navigation section. Rules of the list (and what happens if they're broken): No fighting/flaming!!! If there is a problem, PLEASE discuss it privately with the person. The first offence will be asking nicely for the problem to be taken outside and the people involved will be put on a moderated posting probation. If it happens again they'll be banned from the list. No solicitation of funds That is a serious no no... this is and will remain a free list. Please don't plug another list on this list It would be nice if you wanted to tell other people about other lists privately :) Its just polite. You can however, ask me and I'll post it if I feel its okay :) Quoting: Please try to keep "quotes" to a minimum. It would be easier for the people in Digest mode to read if we removed our quotes lines... although quoting the source would help keep them on track. I wont gripe about this for now since it is still a small list, but just please try to think of what it will look like to someone who receives the all-in-one digest mailings. HTML messages: Please please oh please write normal messages. I love pretty HTML ones, but digest mode doesn't support it. It won't show attachments either. Please keep on topic: We talk about hookbill birds. Anything about them is fine :)
