I thought it has gotten better since then but today I noticed something that looks like flaking today. She has laid a lot of eggs since around mid-february (when it got warmer) and she didn't seem to want to stop so I tried going the dummy eggs route. It worked (she has been sitting on them for almost 3 weeks though.. she is still interested in doing that), she hasn't laid for over 2 weeks which is good but I noticed her beak today and not sure what to think. She has mostly been eating the seed mix (so not the niger and the red millet) because she laid the eggs in the food bowl so she also eats from there (I clean it every day and replace the seed though). I have been thinking of putting that bowl with red millet and niger next to her, or mixing some into her nest so she can eat it. I know that the vet warned me that doing bloodwork could be dangerous given her small size.. I have been giving her basically everything - the romaine lettuce, some apples, crushed oyster shells, an egg mix, the seed mix and the niger + the red millet though like I said she mostly eats from the food bowl where she nests because she has been VERY focused on incubating the eggs. She would barely drink until I put the water feeder next to her where I put calcivet, electrolytes for exotic birds and another calcium solution (I rotate those supplements daily). Also they get vitamins (versele laga omnivit) once per week put into the egg mix as per instructions. She acts normal outside of the nest but I noticed the longer she stays in the nest the more often she will be panting, not sure if stress, but she does not do it outside of the nest.

Sometimes she will also close her eye(s) in the nest.. but like I said, she has been doing this and the panting ONLY in the nest (for two weeks now, very intermittently), and never at night when sleeping. She also tried to bite me yesterday when I was checking on her.. well not me, she made a movement like she wanted to bite someone that was right outside her nest (I was checking in on her at night).
