I need yet another humidifier.
I have a Venta that doesn't use a filter - but they are so $$$
Ones that are evaporative with filters have to have them replaced often and there's a potential disease problem.
Humidifiers that heat and evaporate the water sometimes have teflon.
So, I was wondering about the sonicating ones - mostly a cold one, but what I'm wondering is -
Can birds hear the sound from a humidifier that is using ultrasonic frequencies to break up the water into droplets?
I know they can hear more than we do!

That's a nice link, thanks.
It looks like they do recommend some ultrasonics as being OK.
