My mom wants a breadmaker now. This one looks safe to me.

Couple of quotes

Unique Healthy Non-stick Ceramic Pan & 710W Powerful Quieter Motor】Exclusive one to use Ceramic Pan designed to make the bread evenly baked and healthier for 100% no chemicals(BPA-Teflon-PTFE Free) and easy to clean.
And this
UNIQUE NON-STICK CERAMIC PAN
Unique ceramic bread pan design makes bread more natural and healthy, the ceramic is stable and has been tested and proven safe in use, it using nanotechnology to achieve a non-stick effect. And the ceramic ensures fast and even heat conduction of the bread pan. Safer to use and easier to clean.
I dunno... I'm definitely open other options. I'm not convinced we need one but my mom really wants one

We've had a ancient Sojarushi we use occasionally and never had a problem with it and the birds but I don't think it has ever overheated to the critical temperature to cause a problem. Mostly all we smell is bread baking and nobody is super close to it.
The one she likes sounds up to date and nice with safety in mind.

that is the KBS model I bought myself on Black Friday sale
because it sounded bird-safe and I always wanted a breadmaker.
Takes alittle bit to understand all the differences in the cycles and all the printed info that comes with it.
Plus I'm doing it at 1.5 miles elevation (7500')
I like it though, I've been able to figure out a few recipes that work from another recipe book I bought.
The included recipes with machine are weird.

It doesn't say PFOA free. That is the only problem.

I also have a breadmaker, I don't use it as much as I'd like but when I do I have no issues - it runs in the kitchen with the back window open, and like others said, it doesn't get that hot.

One option is to use the bread maker for the knead cycle and then bake in the oven

Urg! I had to double check that. In the question section the seller answered that it was PFOA free, weird it wasn't in the main part though. Good catch on your part
