Hello,
I have a bird cage with rust mainly on the removable tray which I can just replace. There some other white stuff on it even after cleaning. Maybe the original coating? Also had a little rust inside one of the door hinges. I’ve seen some other threads about the same topic with suggestions to use a special kind of paint to coat it after removing the rust.Would I be better off getting a new cage or is removing the rust and painting actually a safe method? From most post I’ve read, even a little rust is deadly to birds.
Thanks in advance for any help.
