10 yo female, have had 9 yrs. Always pasty butt, does not preen vent. She gets vet checks regularly, but vet doesnt give a reason why. She is healthy, all test are normal. I read of adding vinegar to drinking water. How much to add? Hoping this helps bcause washing her vent involves her struggling. Please advise

It's not normal...poop should pas formed and doesn't require preening

A healthy bird should not have to preen their vent to keep it free of stool. As she had any bloodwork done recently?

She is a Little Corella 9yo. We have had her for 8yrs and this has always been a problem. There is no prolapse. She gets a (exotic vet..no avian vets close) yearly check up, but goes in for nails and vent check every 2-3 months. Old vet merely trimmed her vent feathers. New one checks but has never said there was a problem. Her feces is normal, not sure why she gets pasty. Her diet is occasional scrambled egg, which she never eats much of, pellets, millet treat, and occasional almonds, bits of chicken. She will not touch any vegetable and she does not chew on things like others do. Oh, she drinks lots of water and bathes at least weekly if not 2x a week. Ty for any advice

She has..and always does blood draw at her yearly exam. This has been a problem for 8yrs. Not a new problem.
