I sort of did a thing. I wasn’t planning on it. This is Bella. She’s my first TAG, although I had a CAG for many years. I don’t know her age but based on her name, Im guessing possibly 15-16, since that movie was from ‘08. Her owner died and wasn’t found for over 24 hours so Bella and her flock mate (an elderly Eclectus) were alone for that time. I can only imagine what they were feeling.
Bella is quite a friendly and chatty little thing, so I’m enjoying her.
She will step right up on your hand and chatter away. She’s very different than my CAG was. Much easier going. I’ve been reading that this is pretty normal for Timnehs and I had no idea! Her feathers look a bit dull to me but she likes apples so maybe she will eat her veggies and they will improve.
I did discover that she’s afraid of hats. She was terrified when my boyfriend came in and wouldn’t settle down. I thought at first because he was so much taller, but then I suggested he remove his cap and she settled right down. Go figure.
And, yes, I realize we were being photobombed by my toy poodle. I shut the door because I didn’t want to risk her being startled by him and He was very happy to see her!
