Hi my names Jon and I have got a amazon and she's lately bin breathing funny like she's got a cold or blocked nose but she's eating and drinking and talking as usual what could you recommend every help Is appreciated

Hi , glad you joined us! Sorry for the reason!

If you have those symptoms, she probably has respiratory problem. Birds hide being sick as much as possible . It's only when they are critical and can't hide it do you see what people think of as "sick bird " a fluffed bird on bottom of cage not eating is usually near death.. we can't help cure an infection, you would need a veterinarian.

Diet can play a big role in respiratory health. Especially Amazon parrots are prone to rhinolyths.
Foods rich in vitamin A support respiratory health. Mango, all of the peppers , but I like the rich color yellow , orange and red bell pepper, and red chili peppers best. Cooked sweet potato served warm is excellent and many parrots take to it. Cooked carrots make it easier to asorb the A, but raw are also fine. Romaine lettuce and other leafy greens have a good amount of vitamin A as well .

Getting those into the diet will really help, immunity and respiratory secretions. It's not going to cure her. But will support , a d help prevent future issues
