Hi!
in the past I handled multiple birds. From a cockatiel to a galah and more. So I am used to handfeeding.
I have a jardine, Lily. She was hatched around 21st October. That makes her almost 11 weeks.
I planned it good. I worked half days, up until last week. This is so that I could feed her 3 times she even started to eat! And for the last week and a half or so, she didn’t even want her afternoon feed.
Now that I started working again, miss Lily is isn’t eating pellets or seeds. She plays with them. Unfortunately I do need to start working again. I work Wednesday- Friday 8:30-17:00.
So this is how I feed her at the moment,on my working days:
- 7:00
She has pellets and seeds in her cage
-17;30 after I come home
-19:00
(So that there is 12hrs between last and first feed)
She is playful and practicing her flying. She doesn’t seem any different. Maybe someone can help me with a schedule
my Galah was easier !
