Introducing Phoebe

Ive only had her 3 weeks but We LOVE her so much.. Shes much better about letting us give her treats by hand.. She loves riding on the shoulder.. Shes doing ALOT better with step up on the finger IF shes out of the cage already.. She says Thank you when she wants something lol. Usually apple.. This morning she told my 5 dogs to SIT DOWN.. I think she meant it..

Oh she is gorgeous!! I havent seen many white eyed conures so this is a real treat!! You mentioned her beak was over grown in your intro, it may take time but Ive seen them come around when they are like that with regular work and getting them to chew stuff up. Hopefully it will just be a matter of taking time and helping her to shape it a bit

Phoebe is adorable, I agree points for her telling your 5 dogs to "SIT". Our B&G tells our dogs to "stop barking" and "be quiet!" LOL

LOL Thanks she was a rescue the idiot that had her got tired of her and the last year or so has left her alone in a room by herself with just seed and water.. Ohh he did say he gave her fruit cups once in a while

She is slowly chewing on her wood.. Hopefully in time she will be able to fully close her beak.. Her vocabulary is getting better too.. There are a couple of things she says I cant figure out.. I know its something shes trying to say cause the sound is always the same.. Its usually when we arent paying attention to her.. She also has a EVIL laugh that sounds like a human horror show laugh LOL..
