Hello I still don’t know how this works still lol but I am in need of some advice, my cockatiel her name is Zelda, I’ve had Her for about two weeks and I’ve been trying to give her treats through the cage and stuff but she makes like a raspy growling sound. She does the same thing with her food dish when I take it out too, is there any way to stop this?

Welcome to the forum. How old is she? She looks young in the picture. If she was newly weaned, sometimes baby tiels regress and need some hand feeding/comfort feeding. They make kind of a growly/stactic sound when they're hungry. Is she eating enough? What are you feeding her and do you let her have food 24/7? (If she's not young, you can disregard what I said.)

she’s about two months old and I leave her food in her cage most of the time, I’d say she’s eating pretty normal and I’m feeding her some vegetables and pellet.

Oh, my bird that I have had for about 3 weeks doesn't growl but is still scared of my hand just a lot less then the first day.
That growl may be your birds way of saying it's scared.
Don't know if this helps but gotta try!

I’d be willing to bet it’s baby noises - when I got my male he was around that age and he was still making the baby static/growling noises for attention
