I was lucky enough to meet a Vasa once, it was very sweet! But, I didn't have any idea what it was at the time!

I feel INSTANTLY in love with them when I saw them at the pet store. I mean, they invaded my dreams!!!

I had never seen anything like them when I saw them at our local bird shop! I couldn't get them out of my head. I called back maybe 3 days later to get more information about them. I'd say within the week we owned them (!!!) even though we were told they weren't for sale! The longer we have them, the sweeter they get.

Did I mess up? Sorry newby...What I said was, no Eva hasn't turned yellow since we've had her and that I don't think she's really lost any more feathers either. We've only had them a few months. I hope to ask at the shop where we got her how long she has been in her current state of "featherlessness."
