Pictures First step completed! Bird Room

Got the wall and door up! We wanted glass French doors so they could see us but the prices right now are insane atleast we got something started though and I’m just gonna use a baby gate and maybe that magnetic door mesh when we want the door open. Still trying to figure out how I want the room divided. I like how open it looks and could put a really big play stand in there. I think we will do a turn system. Bean and Papaya can have the afternoon out cause they are ready to settle down around 5pm and the littles can have evenings out. I still have to figure out how to block off the cage of whatever pair isn’t out but we have some ideas.

Husband made the wall so it could be easy to take down if we have to move. That way there isn’t a lot of fixing up to do still have to figure out what colors we want to paint it. I want mint green door and hubs wants gray walls. Having a hard time picturing the 2 color.

Unfortunately I won’t have an update for awhile. Baby eviction day is near so we will have our hands full. My poor fids are going gonna have to put up with hubs for the most part as he will be cleaning the room till I heal. He sings to them Bean hates it lol

Looks great. Parrots are pretty resilient; I'm sure they'll be extra noisy for a while but will adapt. Good luck with the eviction!

Thank you! I’m really excited to finally give them a space of their own. Yeah I expect the noisiness and have already warned husband that they are going to be extra for alittle while. Luckily they are super independent and good at entertaining themselves.

My husbands in love with them but he hasn’t had pets since he was a kid and of course never owned parrots. They are patient with him, surprisingly as I thought they’d attack him, but he doesn’t know how to pet them (he like bops their heads lol) and you can see on their face that they’re like “this dudes dumb but he gives us the most treats”. Jellybean does tell him to “shut up” and “you’re bad” when he starts singing
