Hi
I might be overreacting but I’ve had Bartles for 22 years and don’t recall ever seeing these little black spots in the shaft of her feathers, nor have I seen so many bloody blood feathers….
And because I’m now looking for something, I’m also noticing that her beak is slightly more flaky than usual and her is skin kinda dry (but so is mine, low humidity in our apt.)
Everything else is totally normal…appetite, weight, poop, behavior, everything normal and she is her usual feisty self.
Am I overreacting to these feathers are they suspicious enough to warrant a vet check?
