I have a white-faced lutino, and I'm pretty sure she's a girl.

I finally got a good pic of her tail and wondered what it meant. Is that Peatling? Does it give any indication on gender or her color mutation?
She is young, and had another feather like that, a little darker, that molted out.

I'm just curious. Thanks for reading!

What color are her eyes? If red, she's a white faced lutino. If dark, she's a clear pied. I don't think that's pearling. How old is she? I don't think visually you can tell but sometimes if you know what the parents are you can genetically figure out sex. She's really pretty either way.

I think it might be just how tail barring shows up with your bird's coloring. I have a female pastel lutino and her barring is bright yellow.

Oh it reminds me of an old tiel I had, Snowy. Oh I miss Snowy she was so bonded to me.

Mine was a female and had red eyes. I'm not sure if that's an indicator but it could be. It is an indicator in galahs and they are related but again I'm not sure, I'm just thinking out loud

The red eyes meant she was a white faced lutino but it doesn't indicate gender like it does with some types of cockatoos.
