From a Breeder
2. What is your bird's name, species, age and sex?
Isabelle, Major Mitchel's Cockatoo AKA = Leadbeater Cockatoo
6 Yr Old. Female
3. Does your bird do any special tricks?
Does "sneaky" qualify !
4. What are some of your bird's favorite foods?
Fresh jalapeno peppers, baby carrots, unshelled dry roasted pistachio's. Harrison's High Potency Coarse, leafy cruciferous greens. quality seed mix,.
5. What is the funniest thing your bird has done?
Every Fall, she gets a new blanket cover for the
winter. She immediately sets to work on making holloween ghost costumes ... This is her 2023 ghost
6. How has your bird enriched your life?
So many levels, but mostly I am honored to have the privilege of caring for her.
7. What would you tell people who are considering this species?

What do I need to learn and do,for this "species specific" creature to thrive in my care.
8. What is the activity and noise level of your bird?
Isabelle is surprisingly a very quiet girl.
She enjoys her morning and evening flight time.
Spends her days with Bentley her mate playing on their Java trees.
9. What are some of your bird's quirks?
She has a thing for my cellphone covers . I let my guard down she's right on it! Another one bites the dust...
10. If your bird talks, what is the most surprising word or sentence it has said?
She's not much of a talker kinda mumbles kissing noise and sweet stuff.
11. What is your bird’s favorite treat?
Favorite treat ; Roasted chicken leg, I strip away most of the meat and leave the cartilage end for them to chew they hold it like a stick scooping out the marrow.
Tortilla chip, toast, crunchy stuff.
