Hello fellow bread makers and bakers. I am an avid sourdough baker and have transformed all of my bakeware/cookware to PFA/non toxic since getting birds. I only use ceramic, glass and cast iron. However, I recently have been seeing so many great things about the silicone bread mats used to take loaves of bread in and out of the Dutch ovens. I found one in particular from King Arthur that they verified was PFA/PFOA free. It would be a dream to have a reusable mat instead of using parchment paper but it is not worth the risk of something happening to my babies.
Does anyone have any experience on silicone bakeware or other alternatives to these fancy bread mats?
